An honest word about our reviews

We’d rather be straight with you than dress things up. Group Boat Tours Dubrovnik is a young, family-run operator, and we’re still building our public review profile one trip at a time. That means you won’t find hundreds of star ratings stacked up here, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise.

What we can promise is the thing reviews are meant to measure in the first place: small groups, a real local skipper who knows these waters, and the kind of day out we’d happily put our own name to — because we do. Every shared tour leaves from Gruz harbour or the Old Town Port with a maximum of twelve guests, so nobody is treated as a number.

What we’re actually building towards

A good review profile is earned, not bought. Our focus is on getting the basics consistently right, every single departure:

• Genuinely small groups — capped at twelve guests, so there’s room to breathe and time to swim.
• English-speaking local skippers who grew up on this coast and know the quiet coves.
• Fixed, per-person prices with no surprises, and snorkelling gear, drinking water and harbour fees included as standard.
• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure, so you can book with confidence.

Do those things well, day after day, and honest reviews tend to follow. That’s the plan, and we’re sticking to it.

Where to leave an honest review

If you’ve been out with us, thank you — and please consider leaving a review. The most useful places for future travellers are Google and TripAdvisor. Search for Group Boat Tours Dubrovnik, or simply ask your skipper on the day and we’ll point you to the exact link.

We mean honest, too. If the morning was perfect, say so. If something could have been better — a timing, a stop, how full the boat felt — we’d far rather read it than not know. A fair, specific review helps the next family or couple decide whether we’re the right fit for them.

How we listen and act on feedback

Because we’re small, feedback doesn’t disappear into a call centre. We read every message, review and comment ourselves, then talk it through as a family at the kitchen table. The practical stuff goes straight back into how we run the boat:

• We adjust departure timings and stops when guests tell us what worked and what didn’t.
• We rethink the route or pace if a particular day felt rushed or too long.
• We fix small details — anything from the snorkelling kit to how we explain the day at the dock.

If your trip fell short in any way, please tell us directly before or instead of leaving a public review, and we’ll do our honest best to put it right. We can only improve on what we hear.
